Payton Marie “Little Nugget” Allman

Payton Marie “Little Nugget” Allman, 10-week-old daughter of Robert Michael Allman, III and Haley Marie Canter, departed this Earth for her eternal heavenly home on Saturday, November 6, 2021. Payton was born at 8:54 AM on August 28, 2021, but even before she entered this world, Payton Marie was a treasured gift to her parents.

In addition to her parents, Payton Marie is survived by her paternal grandparents:  Robert M. Allman, II of Bristol, TN and Jill Minarik of Florida; paternal great grandparents:  Diane and Bill Hatfield of Florida; paternal great-great grandparents:  Robert “Bob” Allman and wife Nana Sammie of Buckhannon; paternal great-great grandmother Shirley and husband Gary Hershman of Fairmont, WV; maternal grandparents:  Michael Canter and companion Amanda Hobbs of Volga, WV and Julie Nicholson of Clarksburg, WV; maternal great grandmother Linda Nicholson of Clarksburg, WV; Aunt Elizabeth Bringas and husband Josh of Joliet, IL;  first cousin Raelynn Bringas; Uncle Franklin Canter and companion Melissa Cramner of Clarksburg, WV; and Aunt Sarah Ann Canter of Clarksburg, WV.  Payton was also loved deeply by several great aunts and uncles, and cousins.

Preceding Payton Marie in death and waiting to welcome her to her eternal home are her paternal grandfather Robert (Mike) Allman, her paternal great grandparents Richard and Sharon Minarik, paternal great-great grandmother Jeanie Allman, and maternal great grandfather Robert “Gompa” Nicholson.

Payton was only with her family for a very short time, but she left a lasting impression upon everyone’s heart who met her. Payton’s light shone so bright for the short time her family was able to have her, that even though she is gone, she is still the brightest part of their lives. Although no one will ever understand why Payton Marie had to leave everyone who loved her so soon, she will always remain the bright spot in their lives.

Private graveside services will be held for the family. Online condolences may be extended to the Allman family at www.heavnerandcutright.com. The Allman family entrusted the Heavner and Cutright Funeral Chapel with the arrangements.
