Paulette Sue (Lantz) Stone

Paulette Sue (Lantz) Stone, 78, of Buckhannon, WV went home to be with her Lord and Savior on the 26th day of March 2022, at St. Joseph’s Nursing Care Facility. 

Sue was born on January 12, 1944 to the late Carl Denver Lantz and Imogene Reid Lantz. On August 3, 1979 she married Lindon Gene Stone, who preceded her in death on December 23, 2019. 

Sue attended Marshall University and WV Business College. Her careers included working at the Upshur County Development Center, MPL, & WVWC and she was active for several years at the Upshur County Emergency Squad. 

She is survived by her son, Lindon “Lenny” Stone II and her daughter, Tammy Chidester and husband Rick, of Buckhannon, as well as three grandchildren Rachel (Justin) Kirk of Holly Springs, NC, Courtney (Sheldon) Page and Alex (Katie) Chidester of Buckhannon; and one brother, Clyde (Sharon) Lantz of Buckhannon. 

She will be reunited in Heaven with her siblings Starlene (Lantz) Howes, Danny Lantz, and Leonard Lantz. 

Friends will be received Thursday, March 31, 2022, from 11 AM to 1 PM at The Way of Holiness Church. A funeral service will be held 1 PM Thursday at the church with Pastor Jerry Murrell officiating. Burial will follow in the Reger Chapel Church Cemetery in Buckhannon. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
