Patrick Anthony Brandt

Patrick Anthony Brandt, 34, of Pittsburgh, PA, formerly Buckhannon, WV, passed away Tuesday, February 18, 2025.

Patrick was born October 3, 1990, the only son of Terry Brandt, of Buckhannon, and the late Vonda Brandt.

Forever cherishing memories are his sisters, Kelly Brandt of Nashville, TN, Kimberly Brandt of Buckhannon, WV, his niece, Kaylee Phipps of Buckhannon, WV, his nephew, Blaze Phipps of Buckhannon, WV, his extended family and devoted friends.

In addition to his beloved mother, Patrick was preceded in death by his niece, Lily Phipps.

A 2009 graduate of Buckhannon-Upshur High School, Patrick made a career in insurance, having worked for State Farm since 2015. As the most friendly insurance agent you’d ever meet, he had a way of making even policies and premiums feel personal. He took care of so many of his coworkers and clients — not just as a provider, but as someone who always had their backs.

Patrick had a way of making everyone feel like his best friend. Effortlessly warm and welcoming, he could talk to anyone — and he did. But his real magic wasn’t just in the conversations; it was in how he turned strangers into lifelong relationships, weaving a community around him wherever he went. He built a life full of connection, adventure and joy.

He loved to push himself, always chasing a new goal and the next travel destination with his trademark enthusiasm. But for all of his movement, some of the best moments with Patrick were spent curled up on his big, cozy couch. He had a way of making even the simplest moments feel special — just by being himself.

Above all, Patrick had the biggest heart. A devoted son, a doting uncle and a steadfast friend. If you were lucky enough to be loved by Patrick, you knew what it was to be truly seen, celebrated and cherished.

Visitation will be held 4-8 p.m. Monday, February 24, 2025, with funeral services following on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at Pittsburgh Cremation & Funeral Care, 3287 Washington Rd., McMurray, PA 15317. A celebration of life will take place in Buckhannon at a later date.
