BUCKHANNON — One person was injured in a vehicle-versus-motorcycle wreck at about 10 a.m. Wednesday morning near Parkwood Drive on Route 20 South.
Law enforcement on scene said the motorcycle rider was conscious and able to interact with emergency personnel prior to being transported by Upshur EMS to St. Joseph’s Hospital for treatment.
Lt. Mark Davis with the Upshur County Sheriff’s Department is the investigating officer, but the accident report was not available as of late Wednesday afternoon.
The Buckhannon detachment of the West Virginia State Police and the Buckhannon Fire Department also responded to the scene.
