Bulky Goods Collection begins at 5:30 a.m. Bulky goods collection is for large items such as couches, chairs, mattresses, appliances, etc. All Buckhannon Waste Department customers are allowed four items per month and eight tires per year. You must call by Wednesday, June 10, to schedule a pickup. Items must be at the curb by 5:30 a.m. on Friday to ensure pickup.

Trash Can Placement: Trash cans must be hidden from public view as much as possible during the week; place them at the curb the night before the collection and return them within 24 hours after the collection.

Utility Bill Payments: Pay utility bills online at Municipal Online Payments or by phone at 1-866-933-4026. Setting up an account allows customers to monitor their consumption.

Report Repairs or Concerns: To report issues such as potholes or damaged signs, call City Hall during business hours to submit a work order or use the city’s Citizen Engagement tool: Report a Concern.
