Maxwell “Max” Ladd Lahman, age 38, of Rock Cave, died Wednesday, March 20, 2024.
He was born on April 25, 1985, in Petersburg, WV, a son of Leroy Maxwell Lahman and Janie Marie Jones Lahman, who survive. In addition to his parents, he is also survived by his wife Heather Renee Pickens Lahman; children Hannah and Brycen Lahman, both of the home; one sister Carol Louise Lahman of McCoole, Maryland; six brothers: Leroy Lahman and wife Annie of Rock Cave, Roy “RJ” Lahman of Rock Cave, Steve Jones and wife Rose of Hacker Valley, Paul Jones and wife Carol of Rock Cave, James “JD” Jones and wife Chrissy of Rock Cave, and Timmy Lahman of Arthur, WV; and several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
Max owned and operated Lahman Logging and Trucking out of Rock Cave. Before owning his own business, he had worked in the oilfield for Hydrocarbon Well Services for many years. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting and fishing.
The family will receive friends at the Heavner & Cutright Funeral Chapel on Friday, March 29, 2024, from 11:00 AM-1:00 PM, the funeral hour. Following the services, the body will be cremated.
