Max Roy Lee

Max Roy Lee, age 62, of Buckhannon, WV died March 4, 2023, at his home.

He was born March 2, 1961 in Buckhannon a son of the late Letcher Keith and Zita Helen Lee.

On April 20, 1995 he married Marsha Stuart Greene who survives. Also surviving are two cousins, Bill Young of Bruceton Mills, WV and Mark Young of CA; two goddaughters, Carma and Clara Dean; two brothers and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers.

Mr. Lee was a methodist by faith. In his teens he was an excellent dirt bike rider. Max was an artist at heart and a welder by trade who could take a piece of metal and make it look like a diamond. He was a family man and loved his goddaughters, Carma and Clara very much.

Friends will be received Tuesday, March 7, 2023 from 12 PM (noon) to 2 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 2 PM with Pastor Ed Lowther officiating. Burial will follow in the Hampton Cemetery in Hampton, WV.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in Mr. Lee’s honor to the American Cancer Society or other charity of your choosing.
