Marion Frances Riley

Marion Frances Riley, age 84, a resident of Buckhannon, passed away Friday, March 14, 2025, in the United Hospital Center. Marion was born on April 8, 1940, in Kanawha Head, WV a son of Macel F. and Beatrice (Corley) Riley. Marion was united in marriage to Joyce Marie (Lewis) Riley, who resides at home.

Marion always enjoyed going on camping trips and spending time outdoors. He looked forward to traveling to Florida, which he loved. Marion worked as a millwright for J& L Steel with over 20 years of service.

Surviving is his wife Joyce Riley; children Robert Riley and significant other Patti McGolnick of Bennettsville, SC, Richard Riley and wife Gail of Imperial, PA, Brad Riley and wife Stephanie of Morgantown, Chad Riley of Buckhannon, Thomas Ball and wife Allison of Clarksburg, Michael Ball of Alliance, OH, Terri McCann and fiancé Ray Snider of French Creek; 16 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren; brothers Delbert Riley of Buckhannon, and Elbern Riley of Moncks Corner, SC

Marion was preceded in death by his parents Macel and Beatrice Riley; daughters-in-law Ellen Riley and April Riley; sisters Sue Kincaid and Jolleene Kelshaw.

A celebration of life will be held on April 13, 2025, from 2-6 pm at the Riverbend Golf Course, 591 Evun Breth Acres, Buckhannon, WV 26201. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.wrightfuneralhomeservices.com
