Madison Cutright crowned National United States Preteen 2023

Altoona, PA – Madison Paige Cutright of Buckhannon, West Virginia, has been crowned National United States Preteen 2023 at the annual national pageant held July 31 to August 3 in Hershey, Pennsylvania.

In addition to the national title, Cutright won National Photogenic, Bronze and Gold Volunteer Community Service Awards, as well as National Service Award for collecting 155,000 pop tabs for donation to The Ronald McDonald Charities.

Madison is the 12-year-old daughter of Chester and Tess Cutright of Buckhannon. She attends Buckhannon-Upshur Middle School, where she is in the 7th grade. She is on The Honor Roll and also has Perfect Attendance. She started her own non-profit “Madison’s Toys for Christmas” when she was ten years old. She raises money on her own, and gives back to children in her own community at Christmas. She is also a competitive swimmer, plays tennis as a hobby, and is on her school’s volleyball team.

Cutright will spend her year of service promoting her personal platform, Madison’s Heart Heros, where she travels to area schools and community organizations ; as well as making appearances around the country throughout her reign to encourage good cardiac health and how to take good care of your heart.

The National United States Scholarship Pageant is a scholarship, community service and platform based pageant showcasing the achievements of today’s students and graduates, with an emphasis on developing communication skills, building self-confidence, leadership skills, community involvement, and making a difference. The National United States Pageant is comprised of eleven divisions for age 4 and Up. Contestants compete in four areas of competition : Interview (50%), Fun Fashion (20%), Evening Gown (20%), and Community Service (10%)
