Loueda Mae Lamb

Loueda Mae Lamb, 88, of Buckhannon, W.Va., died Sunday, February 28, 2021, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Buckhannon.

She born July 2, 1932, in Upshur County, W.Va., a daughter of the late Ray Mills and Stada Cutright Mills-Nay.  On February 16, 1952 she married Willard Gene Lamb who preceded her in death on October 5, 2013.

She is survived by three sons, Ronald G. Lamb and wife Melissia of Buckhannon, Michael E. Lamb and wife Karen of Safety Harbor, Fla. and Thomas B. Lamb of Buckhannon; one daughter, Debora Russell and husband Dwain of Jacksonville, Fla.; four grandsons, Derrick Lamb and wife Jodi of Buckhannon, Jason Lamb and wife Jennifer of Texas and Riley Lamb and Corey Riffle both of Buckhannon; six granddaughters, Lindsey Russell and Leigh Ann Russell both of Jacksonville, Jennifer Gundel and husband Mark of Clearwater, Fla., Ali Lamb of Safety Harbor, Addison Lamb of Findlay, Ohio and Selena Lamb of Buckhannon; eleven great grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; one brother, Wayne Mills and wife Margaret of Buckhannon; one sister, Helen Corley of Mabie, W.Va. and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Lamb was an accountant and a member of the Chapel Hill United Methodist Church of Buckhannon.

Friends will be received Thursday, March 4, 2021 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. J. Edward McDaniels officiating. Burial will follow in the Sand Run Baptist Cemetery in Excelsior, WV.
