Linda W. Winspear, of Buckhannon, WV, died Sunday, March 8, 2026, at WVU Medicine United Hospital Center in Bridgeport, WV, a daughter of the late Carl D. and Lois Crites Westfall.
On May 21, 1961, she married George F. Winspear, who preceded her in death on July 8, 2018.
She is survived by special friends, Dave and Charlotte Smith of Buckhannon. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one sister, Nancy Westfall.
Mrs. Winspear was a registrar at West Virginia Wesleyan College. She was a member of the Emeritus Club at WVWC, Rocky Ford United Methodist Church, and the Rocky Ford Cemetery Association.
A graveside service was held Saturday, March 21, 2026, at the Rocky Ford Cemetery in Buckhannon, WV, with Rev. Frank Spears and Jane Nickell officiating.
