Linda Gail Shreve-Moran, age 68, of Georgetown, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, April 26, 2024.
She was born February 3, 1956, a daughter of the late Margie Walton Sites and Dave Sites, Sr.
Linda married Richard “Bud” Moran on June 30, 2018, who survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Chanda Powell and husband, Paul of Richmond, KY and Gail Widmer and husband, Matthew, of Georgetown, KY; one grandson and one granddaughter, Ethan McCale Widmer and Ella Marie Widmer, both of Georgetown, KY; a sister Carolyn Flory and husband, Joel of Fairmont, WV; and a brother, Dave Sites, Jr. of Canaan, WV.
In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her first husband of 35 years, Bobby Lee Shreve.
Linda worked for many years at Kroger in Buckhannon, where she retired. She was a very sweet and quiet person who always had a smile on her face. She always put others first, never asked for help, and never talked about her worries.
Linda enjoyed making quilts, crocheting, and working puzzles. She had a heart of giving and loved to make everyone’s favorite candies, cookies, and cakes and enjoyed gifting them at Christmas along with her famous party mix. But most of all, she loved spending time with family and spoiling her grandchildren.
Friends will be received Thursday, May 2, 2024, from 5 PM to 8 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 9 AM Friday at the funeral home with Pastor Ed Lowther officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Union Cemetery.
