LeVonda Jane Samples, age 60, passed away September 26, 2022, at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV.
Vonda was born October 14, 1961, to the late Jay A. and Carrie Ellen Tenney Samples. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Ernest Samples.
LeVonda is survived by siblings Kenneth and Hester Samples, Jim and Joann Samples, LeVera and Keith Gillum, Bryan and Theresa Samples and Tammy and Bernard VanGilder; special friend Loretta Samples; numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews and her loving caregivers, Connie Sipe, Carolyn Shreve, Julie Anderson and Rita Goff.
The family wishes to send special thanks to Connie Sipe who was LeVonda’s fiercest advocate.
Friends will be received Friday, September 30, 2022, from 5 to 8 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 11 AM Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. Junior Harris officiating. Burial will follow in the Heaston Ridge Church Cemetery in Heaston Ridge, WV.
