Leadership Upshur Class of 2025 to host community skills share event

The Leadership Upshur Class of 2025 is proud to announce an upcoming community Skills Share Event on Wednesday, May 7, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Upshur Parish House in Buckhannon.

This event invites community members of all ages to come together, learn new skills, and connect with neighbors. Local volunteers and leaders will offer a variety of short demonstrations and workshops designed to inspire creativity, self-reliance, and community spirit.

Attendees will also have the chance to win exciting door prizes throughout the morning.

“We’ve been wanting to host this type of event at the Parish House for a long time,” said Isaac Casto, Executive Director of the Upshur Parish House. “We’re grateful to the Leadership Upshur Class of 2025 for taking the initiative to put it all together.”

“We’re excited to create a space where people can both share what they know and pick up something new. It’s a wonderful way to celebrate community knowledge and connection.”
