BUCKHANNON — After competing against their peers at the school level, student representatives from fourth to eighth grades gathered at Buckhannon-Upshur High School to compete in the Upshur County Spelling Bee on Thursday, January 12, 2023.

Buckhannon-Upshur Middle School students, Sylas Knight (1st place) and Ava Trent (2nd place), as well as Tennerton Elementary student, Atlas Jenkins (3rd place), led the way and will move on to represent Upshur County at the regional level.

Congratulations to all representatives on a job well done, and best wishes to the regional participants!
