Kenneth Lee Bevans

Kenneth Lee Bevans, 44, of Buckhannon, W.Va., died Saturday, March 14, 2020, at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, W.Va.

He was born October 17, 1975, in Pa., a son of Thomas Bevans of Buckhannon and the late Elda Shipley Bevans.

On June 30, 2012, he married the love of his life, Tina Tenney who survives. Also surviving are three sons, Kenneth Lee Bevans Jr., Ryan Jack Bevans and Christopher Dan Cochran all of Buckhannon; four brothers, Terry Shipley and wife Kimilee, Mike Robinson and wife Marsha, Elvis Small and wife Lisa and Tom Bevans and his companion; one sister, Shelly Claypoole and husband Denver; in-laws, Randy Tenney and companion Terri Smith, Paul Harris and wife Mary and Crystal Clapper and companion Darrel; father-in-law, Randy Tenney; mother-in-law, Robin Tenney; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

In addition to his mother he was preceded in death by one brother, Brian Bevans and two nephews, Jonathon and James Shipley.

Mr. Bevans attended Mid Way Apostolic Church and worked in paving. He enjoyed mudding, working on as well painting cars and trucks and watching the Food Network Channel.

Friends will be received on Wednesday, March 18, 2020, from 11 a.m. to noon at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held noon Wednesday with Pastor Rick Hymes officiating. Burial will follow in the Hampton Cemetery in Hampton, W.Va.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
