High Point Construction wins second-quarter title in men’s golf league

High Point Construction clinched the men’s golf league second-quarter title with 88 points, edging out Highland Landscaping and Hank Ellis Insurance, as Chris Brady and Dusty Zickefoose earned top individual honors.

TENNERTON – After several rain outs in the second quarter, High Point Construction won the quarter holding on for a 2 ½ point win after downing Custom Cabinets by a 21-19 score in Buckhannon Country Club Bob Cupp Memorial Golf League action this past Wednesday.

High Point Construction finished the second quarter with 88 points.

Highland Landscaping, the first-quarter winner, took second place with 85 ½ points after a 22 ½-17 ½ win over Feola’s Flowers.

Hank Ellis Insurance finished third in the second quarter with 85 points after a 22 ½-17 ½ win over Sam’s Pizza.

Lisa Cain Edward Jones took fourth with 82 points after a 23 ½-16 ½ victory over First Community Bank.

Chris Brady of First Community Bank won Low Actual honors with a 33 while Dusty Zickefoose of Hank Ellis Insurance won Low Net honors with a 30.
