Junior varsity Bucs tumble to Morgantown

TENNERTON – The Buckhannon-Upshur junior varsity Buccaneers dropped a 56-41 decision at home to the Morgantown Mohigans Friday night.

The JV Bucs trailed by a 19-10 score after one quarter and were forced to play catch-up the rest of the night.

Jay Shrewsberry led Morgantown with 12 points.

Bryson Johnston led the junior varsity Buccaneers with eight points while Carter Zuliani and Shawn Blandino each had six.

The JV Bucs are now 0-2 on the season and will return to action Wednesday hosting Lincoln.

The game will tip at 5:45 p.m.
