Judge clears way for Buckhannon to acquire land for new water plant as parties begin legal process to determine property’s value

Gov. Patrick Morrisey has appointed Erin Hunter as West Virginia insurance commissioner, effective July 1, 2026, succeeding retiring Commissioner Allan L. McVey.
