John Mark “Pap” Megimose

John Mark “Pap” Megimose, 52, of Buckhannon, W.Va., went to be with the Lord on December 5, 2019.

He was born October 31, 1967, in Beckley, W.Va., a son of the late Mike Megimose, Jr. and Carolin Collier Megimose.

On May 12, 1990, he married the love of his life, Billie Lea Crane who survives.

He is also survived by one son, John Mark Megimose II and wife Kimberly of Bridgeport, W.Va.; one daughter, Rebekah Lea Megimose-Walton and husband Cody of French Creek, W.Va.; one grandson, Chase Allan Megimose of Bridgeport; one granddaughter, Virginia LeaAnn Megimose of Bridgeport; one brother, Michael Megimose and wife Alice of Climax, N.C. and two sisters, Elaine Colaiseno and husband James and Lois Megimose all of Oak Hill, W.Va.

In addition, he is survived by loving sister-in laws, Donna Crane and Martha Simmons, also of Oak Hill, W.Va., and Priscella Hall and husband David of Fairmont, W.Va.

Mr. Megimose was an avid member of The Way of Holiness Church and loved the Lord with all of his soul. He cherished spending time with his family and grandchildren, as well as, wrestling and weightlifting.

A memorial service will be Friday, December 13, 2019 at 5:30 p.m. at The Way of Holiness Church in Buckhannon.
