John Eugene Snyder

John Eugene Snyder, 81, of the Clarksburg Road, Buckhannon, died Monday, August 9, 2021, at his home. 

He was born on May 3, 1940, a son of the late Blaire Eugene and Maude Slaughter Snyder.  On September 7, 1958, he was united in marriage to Neva Mae Grose Snyder, who preceded him in death on April 18, 2017. 

He is survived by one son John Joseph Snyder and companion Connie Horner; two daughters:  Anita June Snyder and companion James Gerald and Mary Elaine Cosner; four grandchildren:  Tiffany Dawn O’Connor and husband Marshall, James Tyler “Bubby” Snyder, Brittany Lea Grubb, and Britany Ice and husband Cody; three great grandchildren:  Elana Gay Snyder, Denim Ice, and Matthew Tucker; and his beloved dog Shorty.

John was retired from Moore’s Business Forms and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

At the request of the deceased, no services will be held and private interment was in the Lorentz Cemetery.
