Jimmy Ryan “Hunnie Bear” Squires

Jimmy Ryan “Hunnie Bear” Squires, 30, of Buckhannon, W.Va., died Tuesday, May 5, 2020, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Buckhannon.

He was born June 19, 1989, in Fauquier County, Va., the son of Jerry Squires, Jr. of Buckhannon and Roberta Warner of French Creek, W.Va.

On August 26, 2016, he married Tiffany Nice who survives. Also surviving are one son, Jimmy Ryan Squires, Jr. of Philippi, W.Va.; step-father, Jimmie Warner of French Creek; two brothers, Jerry Squires III of French Creek and John Squires of Elkins, W.Va.; one sister, Charlotte Squires of Buckhannon; one step-sister, Rosanna Riffle of Buckhannon and maternal grandmother, Barbara Haddix of Kanawha County, W.Va.

Jimmy was a store clerk at Goodwill and a member of the Liberty in Christ Church of Buckhannon.

Friends will be received Friday, May 8 from 11 a.m. to noon at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held following the visiting hour at noon with Pastor Jason Westfall officiating.

Burial will follow in the Miller Cemetery in Horner, W.Va.

In following the Governor’s guidelines we will only be able to permit 25 people to enter the building at a time.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
