Jessica Nicole Lemons

Jessica Nicole Lemons, 34, of Buckhannon, passed away Monday, October 28, 2019 following injuries sustained from an automobile accident.

She was born in Charleston on February 25, 1985, the daughter of George Douglas and Christina Billanti Franks of Walkersville, W.Va. Jessica was preceded in death by her grandmother, Margaret Alice Billanti and close friend, Richard Woofter.

Jessica graduated from Lewis County High School class of 2003. She was previously employed with Holiday Inn in Weston for over five years before currently working for Hawthorn Suites in Bridgeport. When Jessica wasn’t working she enjoyed crafts, reading books, especially Harry Potter, listening to music and her true passion was the love she had for children.

Those left to cherish Jessica’s memories are her husband, Anthony Lemons of Buckhannon; brother, Robert Franks and wife, Taylor, of Walkersville; mothers and father-in-law: Marty Lemons and Phyllis of Ellamore and Barbara Ann Bennett of Jacksonville, Fla.; two cousins whom she was truly fond of: Monica Billanti and Amber Pourfarhadi both of Charleston; four brothers-in-law: Alex Lee Lemons and Nick Lemons both of Ellamore, Martin Bennett Bertelli and wife, Lauren, of Buckhannon and Bradley James Bennett and wife, Mariah, of Jacksonville, Fla.; sister-in-law, Angel Mack of Fort Bragg, N.C.; and two very close friends: Amanda Vezinat and husband, Jonathan, of Buckhannon and Jana Woofter of Martinsburg, W.Va.

Other family members include her grandfather, Richard Billanti; aunts and cousins: Aunt Sally, Tori and Deanna Gustafson, Shelley Priest, Cindee Smith, Leeann, James and Maykala Lundy, Aunt Anitanina Shumaker, John Robert and Carol Raley, Eddie and Tressa Raley, Don and Kathy Raley; great aunts:  Patsy Bray and Leona Franks; and several cousins in Augusta, Georgia.

Jessica’s request for cremation has been honored and a Celebration of Life service will be held at Audra State Park on at 1 p.m. on Saturday, November 9.
