James Loyd “Jim” Perrine II

James Loyd “Jim” Perrine, II, age 51, of the Gaines Road, Rock Cave, died Wednesday, January 26, 2022, at his home. 

He was born on May 21, 1970, a son of James Loyd Perrine of the Gaines community and Pauline Frances Moore Wolz of Jacksonville, FL.  On June 5, 1994, he was united in marriage to Ronda Donell Bennett Perrine, who survives.  Also surviving are their two children:  Jamey and husband Matt Weintraub of Elkins and Dalton Perrine and girlfriend Caila of the home; and two sisters:  Valerie Perrine of Weston and Mary Perrine and boyfriend Ricky of Jacksonville.

Jim had worked in the oil fields and the sawmill, was a talented welder and fabricator, and enjoyed competing in cornhole tournaments.

The body was cremated and a private family memorial will be held at a later date.
