Hunter Haze Warner

Hunter Haze Warner, age 1, of Buckhannon, WV, died Saturday, December 10, 2022, at the WVU Children’s Hospital in Morgantown, WV.

He was born November 24, 2021, in Clarksburg, WV, a son of Joseph Dakota Warner and stepmother, Katelynn Wegman both of Buckhannon. Also surviving are one sister, Marissa Grace Warner of Buckhannon, WV; paternal grandfather, Joseph A. Warner “Pap Pap” of Buckhannon; paternal grandmother, Stephanie Warner “Mam Mam” of Buckhannon; uncle, Durango “Rango” Warner and girlfriend, Payton Barker of Buckhannon; aunt, Sierra Warner “Aunt CC” of Buckhannon; paternal great-grandmother, Lynn Warner “Nana Lynn” of Buckhannon; maternal grandfather, Austin Gillespie and wife Glenda of Braxton County, WV; maternal grandmother, Amanda Cutlip “Mamaw” of Braxton County, WV; beloved dog, Daisy and several other loving family members.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Joseph Tyler Warner. Hunter gave the best long hugs, had the biggest smile and bright blue eyes. Hunter and his brother Tyler were the happiest, most cheerful boys and had the most infectious laugh like their father.

Friends will be received Friday, December 16, 2022, from 4 PM to 7 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 7 PM on Friday evening. In honoring the family’s wishes, Hunter will be cremated following services.
