Hubert is survived by eight children: Melissa Cutright and husband, Ranger, of Stafford, Va., Sherry Fisher and husband, Tim, of Hacker Valley, W.Va., Mike Gregory of Buckhannon, Anthony Gregory and Roy Gregory both of Adrian, Larry Gregory of Charleston, Kevin Gregory of Florida, and Carrie George and husband, Harmon, of Buckhannon; several grandchildren; one sister, Waneta Hamner of Canaan, W.Va.; one brother, Leroy Gregory of Buckhannon; long-time companion, Pam Cogar of Adrian; and several nieces and nephews.

Hubert worked in construction as a carpenter with his brother Dennis. He was a jack-of-all-trades and had also been employed on the Oil Riggs with Union Drilling. In his spare time, Hubert enjoyed trading motorcycles and four-wheelers and listening to Rock-and-Roll while tinkering on them. Hubert was Christian by faith. He was a high spirited man who loved being outdoors. Hubert will always be remembered for his ability to make you laugh with his jokes and outgoing nature. He was loved greatly and will be missed dearly.
