High Point Construction takes early second-quarter lead in men’s golf

TENNERTON – High Point Construction is off to a fantastic start to the second quarter in Buckhannon Country Club Bob Cupp Memorial League play.

High Point Construction won a dominant 28-10 victory over Feola’s Flowers to open a four-point lead.

Sealcoat Concepts and Sam’s Pizza both rest in second place.

Sealcoat Concepts downed First Community Bank by a 24-16 margin while Sam’s Pizza beat Custom Cabinets by a 24-10 score.

Hank Ellis Insurance landed in fourth place to start the second quarter with a 23 1/2-16 ½ win over Baker Tilly.

Highland Landscaping is fifth after a 22-14 victory over Lisa Cain Edward Jones.

Doug Garrett of Hank Ellis Insurance earned Low Actual honors with a 38 while Chris Zickefoose of Hank Ellis Insurance picked up Low Net honors with a 30.
