Helen G. Peck

Helen G. Peck, age 95, of the Canaan Community, passed away on February 18, 2024, at her home.

She was born on January 27, 1929, in Canaan, a daughter of the late Tillman Peck and Dolly Sines Peck. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her lifelong partner Kyle Sines; one daughter Myrtle Hutton; one infant son Allen Dale; two sons-in-law: Lawrence Wilson and Clyde Humphrey; three brothers: Ralph Peck, Roscoe Peck, and Willis Peck; and three sisters: Christine Adams, Patty Chidester, and Lois McComb.

She is survived by four daughters: Phyllis Cooper and husband Warren of French Creek, Tressie Wilson of Gaines, Priscilla Pierce and husband Curtis of Virginia, and Louise Humphrey of Canaan; four sons: Larry Peck and wife Marsha of Tallmansville, Edward Peck of Canaan, David Peck of Canaan, and Rick Peck and wife Debbie of Parkersburg; seventeen grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren, and six great-great grandchildren.

Helen enjoyed Sunday get-togethers with her family. She will be missed by her family who loved and cared for her.

The family will receive friends at the Heavner and Cutright Funeral Chapel on Wednesday, February 21, 2024, from 11 AM to 12 PM, the funeral hour, with Reverand Rick Cutright officiating. Interment will follow in the Goshen Cemetery.
