He was born December 10, 1951, in Buckhannon, WV, a son of the late Helen Lorane Bostick Corica and Tony Corica.

On September 18, 2009, he married his love, Sheila R. Workman Corica. In addition to his wife, he is survived by many beloved family members. Daughter, Mariah Corica-Lambert (Rob) and grandsons, Corben, Grahm, and Avery Lambert, all of Weston. Daughter, Sabrina Perkins (Brock) and granddaughter, Tori Perkins, and grandson, Easton Perkins, all of Buckhannon. Son, Jason Barcus of Clarksburg and grandsons, Zachary and Caleb Barcus and Preston Harris, of Buckhannon. Daughter, Amy Hackett (Dan) and grandsons, Jesse and Chase Hackett, all of Buckhannon. Greg retired in 2012 from the local Carpenter’s Union. Throughout his lifetime he enjoyed carpentry work in and around his home, hunting, especially with his beagles, fishing, golfing, bowling, and, as a young man, drag racing his Plymouth Barracuda in Eldora, WV.

The past few years you could always find him on the golf course with a few of his grandsons or his golfing buddies, whom he loved spending time with and who became very dear to his heart. One of his most favorite things in life was spending time with his family and watching his children and grandchildren play sports.

Everyone who knew Greg loved him for his quick-witted sense of humor, which made everyone laugh, and his kind heart and big smile. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends who will always remember spending special times with him at sporting events and around his beautiful stone firepit.

In honoring Greg’s wishes, he will be cremated.
