Grandparents and other loved ones get a taste of school at Hodgesville Elementary

Students and staff at Hodgesville Elementary School welcomed 100 grandparents and other loved ones to our school on Monday, September 9.

Students and their teachers planned a variety of activities to engage their grandparents.  Those visiting kindergarten were able to try the applesauce the students worked all day to make.

In one classroom, students interviewed grandparents to see how their life as a child was different than growing up now!  Students and adults played a game to get to know one another.

We appreciate our grandparents and loved ones and enjoy the time they can spend with us learning!
