Glenn Christian Ludwig

Glenn Christian Ludwig, 52, of Buckhannon, passed away on Sunday, April 27, 2025, at United Hospital Center in Bridgeport.

He was born in Grandby, CT, on February 23, 1973, a son of the late Lee Alfred Ludwig and Patricia Mary Pomije Ludwig. Glenn was also preceded in death by his sister, Brianna Smith; and grandparents, Dayton and Kathy Howes.

Forever cherishing their memories of Glenn are one daughter, Nekaiya Ludwig; his ex-wife, Lindsey Williams; four siblings: Heidi Allen and husband, Charlie, Valerie Ludwig both of Granby, CT, Lee Ludwig and wife, Crissy, of Port St. Lucie, FL, and Kirstie Ludwig of Gloucester, MA; six nieces and nephews: Charles “Bigga Bigga” Allen, Savannah DeSousa, Amaya DeSousa, Kayla Ludwig, Erick Ludwig, and Hope Ludwig; and his faithful companion, Evie Bug, with whom he shared countless walks, memories, and moments of pure, unfiltered joy.

Glenn was an enthusiast of life, an explorer of his interests, and a gatherer of experiences. He was an ardent lover of Star Wars and Legos, and a passionate gamer, weaving tales of fantastic battles and heroic deeds with his controller. His love for shooting guns was not about the thrill of power, but about the precision, discipline, and calm that marksmanship required. At home, Glenn was a connoisseur of television and film, often delighting in the power of storytelling through visual mediums. He was also a proud graduate of Granby High School and a dedicated worker in the restaurant industry, bringing a touch of joy to every customer he served.

Glenn was more than a list of hobbies and achievements. He was a beacon of positivity, a pillar of strength, and above all, a loving father and friend. His life was a testament to his favorite quote from Star Wars, “The Force will be with you, always.” And so, Glenn will be with us, always.

Glenn’s request for cremation has been honored. Family and friends will gather at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at Clutter Funeral and Cremation located at 21 Elnora Circle in Buckhannon. A Celebration of Life service will be held at Clutter Funeral Chapel on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. with Pastor Ed Lowther officiating.
