Genevieve DeMastes, 87, of Buckhannon, W.Va., died Saturday, May 30, 2020 in Buckhannon.
She was born September 16, 1932, in Nimes, France, a daughter of the late Gaston and Elouise Viscere Imbert.
On December 19, 1963, she married Leonard DeMastes, Jr., who preceded her in death on October 17, 1996.
She is survived by one daughter, Patricia Lipscomb and husband Duane of Buckhannon; one son, Leonard Christian DeMastes of Buckhannon; two granddaughters, Ashley Wamsley and husband Rocky II and Denise Posey and husband Martin all of Buckhannon; one grandson, Edward Lipscomb and wife Melinda of Adrian, W.Va.; four great-granddaughters, Raven Wamsley, Brooklyn and Jessica Posey all of Buckhannon and Anna Lipscomb of Adrian and two great-grandsons, Reese Wamsley of Buckhannon and Parker Lipscomb of Adrian.
Mrs. DeMastes was a homemaker. A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 3, 2020 at the Heavner Cemetery in Buckhannon.
