The West Virginia Wesleyan College women’s soccer team easily defeated Salem University 5-0 on Sunday afternoon. The Tigers only fielded nine players and fell behind 3-0 within 10 minutes to Wesleyan’s starters. WVWC coach Rich Owens rotated in a large number of players en route to the shutout victory.
The Lady ‘Cats will next be in action Thursday when they host Davis and Elkins College. Kickoff is set for 4 p.m.
