From the City of Buckhannon: Several paving projects underway

BUCKHANNON — On Monday, Sept. 20, Street Commissioner Brad Hawkins announced that the City Street Department will be handling several street paving projects starting this week and is asking for our residents’ assistance by observing all detour signs as we work in the affected areas.

Paving has already started on Gum Street from Park Street to Boggess Street; next, crews will be working on West Lincoln Street and will pave the complete loop of Lincoln Way.

All of Lightburn Street and all of Latham Street will be paved and 2nd Street will be paved from Thurman Avenue to the end. Mr. Hawkins, the entire Street Department, and our contractors all thank everyone for their patience and understanding during these paving projects.
