The Mountain CAP Family Support Center and Play to Grow Occupational Therapy are offering a free Occupational Therapy Session focusing on fine motor development for children. The session will take place on September 24 from 4:15 to 5:00 p.m. at 30 East Main Street in Buckhannon.

Buckhannon Patrolman Cole Bender received the Rotary Club of Buckhannon-Upshur’s Spirit of Service award for his role in finding a missing toddler last summer. Police Chief Matt Gregory credited Bender’s intuition and quick thinking with saving the child’s life.
