BUCKHANNON — A group of local volunteers is pleased to announce a Free Meal Pickup Saturday, March 13 at First Presbyterian Church in Buckhannon, 13 S. Locust St.
The meal will be a black bean burrito with roasted potatoes. Please wear a face mask when picking up your meal; thank you.
The meal pickup will take place from 5 to 6 p.m. or until the food is gone. This is a collaboration between the Appalachian Peoples Front and founding members of the Really Really Free Market and Community Potluck, Heather Schneider and Andrew Phipps.
“We believe in community members helping one another so that everyone has everything they need to thrive,” the group said a press release. “Keep an eye out for future dates and locations! We have more meals in the works.”
