Freda Louise Dean, 86, of Buckhannon, W.Va., died Sunday, February 7, 2021, at the United Hospital Center in Bridgeport, W.Va.

She was born March 2, 1934, in Buckhannon a daughter of the late William Wade and Beatrice Genevieve Fallon Moreland.

On March 2, 1962, she married Bobby L. Dean of Buckhannon who survives. Also surviving are, one daughter, Denise Hyre and husband Brent of Buckhannon; one son, Brad Dean and wife Mary of Sperry, Okla.; two granddaughters, Carly Dahlheim and husband Nichalos of Fairmont, W.Va. and Holly Monroe and husband Michael of Skiatook, Okla.; four grandsons, Jake Hyre and wife Amanda of College Station, Texas, Kamden Dean and wife Katie of Skiatook, Aaron Dean of Tulsa, Okla. and Chev Dean and wife Genevieve of Fla.; four great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; one sister, Darlene Hinkle and husband Verlin of Buckhannon; one sister-in-law, Twila Moreland; one brother-in-law, Eddie Hinkle and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Zana Lee Hinkle and two brothers, Thomas Moreland and Raymond Fallon.

Mrs. Dean was a sales associate at Stone & Thomas, attended Faith Tabernacle church and was a member of the Mt. Nebo Women’s Club. She enjoyed bowling, her church family and eating.

Friends will be received Sunday, February 14, 2021 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Faith Tabernacle Church.  A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. at the church with Pastor Brian Sinclair officiating. Burial will follow in Heavner Cemetery in Buckhannon.
