Floyd “Mike” Gregory, 40, of Rock Cave, W.Va., died Wednesday, October 9, 2019 at his home.
He was born June 1, 1979 in Buckhannon, W.Va., a son of David and Dorie McCartney Gregory of Rock Cave.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by two brothers, David Randall Gregory, Jr. and wife Heather of Rock Cave and Brian Scott Gregory of Buckhannon; three nephews, Gavin and Dakota Haymond both of Buckhannon and Aiden Gregory of Rock Cave; a niece, Destiney Haymond of Rock Cave; paternal grandfather, Floyd Gregory of Rock Cave and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by paternal grandmother, Loraine Gregory; maternal grandmother, Eva McCartney and maternal grandfather, Russell McCartney.
Mike was a jack of all trades, but most recently worked for Papa John’s. He was a kid at heart who enjoyed getting together with his friends to go four-wheeling.
Friends will be received Sunday, October 13, 2019 from noon to 2 p.m. at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will begin 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home with Pastor Jeff Cochran officiating. Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Kanawha Head, W.Va.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.
