Fred Eberle Technical Center’s SkillsUSA chapter will host a free community event in honor of National Gratitude Month on Wednesday, Nov. 12. The event will run from 4:30 to 6 p.m. at the center, 208 Morton Avenue in Buckhanon.
During the community event, FETC programs will offer free services to the public, including:
- Transportation programs: Safety checks for wipers, fluids and lights, plus tire-pressure checks.
- Information technology: Workshops for common devices and security, with robotics and drones and computer repair.
- Health Sciences: Blood pressure checks, glucose finger sticks and a nutrition program.
- Electrical program: Demonstrations on testing GFCI receptacles and basic household electrical safety.
The event is free and open to the public.
