The West Virginia Highlands Conservancy holds its 2026 Fall Review at Canaan Valley Resort State Park on Oct. 23–24. This year’s theme is “Finding our place in the work ahead,” as the conservancy and its supporters consider how to respond to what it describes as growing threats from data centers, transmission lines, fossil fuel development and environmental deregulation.
The weekend includes hikes, advocacy training, updates on the conservancy’s work and a keynote address by author and activist Eileen Flanagan. It closes with a special dinner, silent auction and fundraiser supporting the conservancy.
Registration is required through the conservancy’s website.
