The 2026 West Virginia Black Heritage Festival opens with a block party in downtown Clarksburg on the Friday evening of festival weekend.
The evening includes music, festival vendors, dancing and entertainment. Organizers say the celebration begins Friday rather than waiting for Saturday’s festival program.
