Paws and Purpose Rescue holds a road toll fundraiser on Saturday, Oct. 17, from 8 a.m. to noon in front of Buckhannon-Upshur Middle School. The rescue says it is its last road toll of the year in Upshur County.
Volunteers will collect donations from passing drivers. According to the rescue, all donations go toward the care of its dogs, including food, veterinary care and supplies. The rescue is foster-based and run by volunteers.
Anyone who wants to help that day is asked to let the rescue know.
