Literacy Volunteers of Upshur County holds its annual Fall Book Sale Oct. 14–17 at The Outpost & Event Center, 20 Raella Lane in Buckhannon. The sale opens with a ticketed early bird evening on Wednesday, then runs to the public Thursday through Saturday morning.

- Thursday, Oct. 15: 8 a.m.–5 p.m.
- Friday, Oct. 16: 9 a.m.–7 p.m.
- Saturday, Oct. 17: 8 a.m.–noon
