West Virginia Wesleyan College’s Office of Religious and Spiritual Life will host Kent Chevalier, chaplain for the Pittsburgh Steelers and author of “Do It Afraid,” in Wesley Chapel. The public is invited to the free presentation.
Chevalier will speak on “Built to Last: What is Your Foundation?” Raised in the Pittsburgh region, he joined the staff of Athletes in Action, a sports ministry, in 2017 at the invitation of former Steelers coach Mike Tomlin and became the team’s chaplain. He has spent 30 years in ministry and holds a bachelor’s degree in student ministry from Geneva College and a master’s in theological studies from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. In “Do It Afraid,” he shares his testimony and lessons learned along the way.
