WVU Medicine St. Joseph’s Hospital and West Virginia Wesleyan College sponsor the third annual Healthy Hero Hustle 5K run/walk and community health fair. Money raised benefits the Student Nurses of Wesleyan. Appalachian Timing Group times the race professionally.
This year’s theme is superheroes, and runners are welcome to dress the part. The course starts at the fountain loop at West Virginia Wesleyan College on Camden Avenue, with street parking nearby. Late registration is $35 through Sept. 17 and guarantees a swag bag but not a T-shirt; online registration closes Sept. 18 so bibs can be prepared, and day-of registration is $40 with no guaranteed swag bag or shirt.
