The traveling exhibit “Faces of Civil War Nurses” opens at noon Saturday, October 3, at the Beverly Heritage Center. The opening is free, according to the center’s post.
The exhibit, presented with the Rich Mountain Battlefield Foundation, stays on view through January 29, 2027.
Earlier the same day, a ribbon-cutting for the Lander’s Rock Trail is set for 10:30 a.m. at Rich Mountain Battlefield.
