Truck drivers are organizing a big rig parade through Buckhannon in memory of the late Tom Smith. Organizer Travis Shaw invites anyone who worked with or knew Smith to shine up their rig and gather at the shop at 121 Shale Gas Drive around 1 p.m. Saturday, September 5.
Drivers will stage at High Point Construction, then run down Brushy Fork to Stony Run, out to Route 20 and Route 33, and back along Brushy Fork to the shop. “Please share and let’s show Tom’s family how greatly he was appreciated by everyone,” Shaw wrote in his Facebook post.
