The Rich Mountain Battlefield holds a ribbon-cutting for its Lander’s Rock Trail at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, October 3. The flyer calls the day a soft opening for the battlefield trail.
The event is free, according to the Beverly Heritage Center’s post.
The same day at noon, the Beverly Heritage Center, 4 Court St. in Beverly, opens the traveling exhibit “Faces of Civil War Nurses.”
