Erma Lorraine Perrine

Erma Lorraine Perrine, 80, of Gaines, W.Va. passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 8, 2021, in Elkins, W.Va.

She was born on January 18, 1941, in Preston County, WV the daughter of the late John and Muriell Royse. Erma worked at the sewing factory in Elkins, W.Va. and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Some of her favorite hobbies were sewing puzzles and working with plastic canvas crafts.

Mrs. Perrine is survived by her four children, Lucille Nesbitt and companion Murlin Howell of Beverly, W.Va., Luther John Perrine, Richard Perrine and wife Lesa, Mary Senna Trusler and husband Mike all of Gaines, W.Va.; step sons, Dave Perrine and wife Kim of Gaines, Danny Perrine and wife Shirley of Ohio and Rickey Wilkins; step daughters, Jeannie Wilkins, Sandy Wilkins, Robin Zens, Patty Yesker and Donna Sue Breeding; grandchildren, Justin Nesbitt, Natasha Davis, Missy Stackpole, William Trusler, Rocky Chidester, Erica Oldaker, Robert Perrine, Shawnee Raschella, Trendon Perrine, Pookie Perrine, Danny Perrine, Adam Perrine, Tisha Osborne, Sherri Blust and many great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren. Also surviving are her best-friend and step daughter-in-law, Ella Jackson of Ohio and dear friend and neighbor, Waneta Hamner of Gaines.

In addition to her parents, Erma was preceded in death by the love of her life William Luther Perrine, whom she married on November 29, 1971 in Mill Creek, Randolph County, W.Va.; seven sisters, three brothers, three stepsons, two stepdaughters, three grandsons and one step granddaughter.

Friends will be received Friday, May 14, 2021, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at the Canaan Church with Roger Wilber officiating. Burial will follow in the Canaan Church Cemetery in Canaan, W.Va.
