Eleanor was a Christian by faith. Affectionally known as Ellie by friends, neighbors, and co-workers, she was devoted to her community. After retiring from Moore Business Forms, she and Joe traveled while working with Ballinger Paving, and then joined the Buckhannon Walmart team. Eleanor was a former member of the Moose Club and a proud Volunteers in Police Service (VIPS) member, who always sparkled in her signature color gold. Participating in various tournaments, she was an avid bowler and loved playing bingo.

With a big heart for her family and friends, and a witty sense of humor, she will be deeply missed by all who loved her. A special thanks to Marge for always checking on her and feline companion Dexi. The family would like to thank the Doctors, Nurses and Staff at St. Joseph’s Hospital for their care, kindness and support.

Friends will be received Saturday, August 19, 2023, from 12 pm – 2 pm, for a memorial gathering at the South Buckhannon Mission Church. A memorial service will be held at 2 pm with Pastor Ed Lowther officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Olive Cemetery in Hinkleville, WV.
